By accessing or using our website, MasOS portal, or any of our related online services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Services.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
1. ABOUT ONE MAS BAND
ONE Mas Band is a premium Caribbean carnival experience debuting at Notting Hill Carnival 2026, operated by [Insert Legal Entity Name] (“ONE Mas Band”).
Our website and MasOS portal allow masqueraders to register, purchase costumes, manage payments, and access event information.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using our website, registering via the MasOS platform, or completing a purchase, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent to participate.

You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, along with our Payment Policy, Refunds & Returns Policy, Sales Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Masquerader Waiver.

You will comply with all applicable UK laws and event regulations.
3. REGISTRATION & ACCOUNTS

You must create a ONE MasOS account to register, manage payments, and access your order details.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information.

ONE Mas Band is not liable for unauthorised access to your account caused by your failure to secure your credentials.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
4. PAYMENTS

All payments must be made directly via your ONE MasOS account using accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, and Afterpay/Clearpay.

All transactions are processed in GBP (£). International banks may apply conversion or processing fees.

Cheques are not accepted.

Your registration is only valid once your deposit payment has been received by the due date.

All payments are subject to our Payment Policy and Refunds & Returns Policy.
5. NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS
Due to the custom-made nature of carnival costumes:

All payments, including pre-registration, deposits, and balances, are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by UK law.

If your paid-in-full costume is successfully resold through the ONE Mas Band Official Resale Marketplace, you will receive a refund after the resale is complete.

ONE Mas Band does not offer rollovers, exchanges, credits, or deferrals to future years.
6. RESELLING & TRANSFERS

ONE Mas Band operates an official resale marketplace that allows fully paid masqueraders to resell their costume packages to other participants.

The official resale platform is the only approved method for resale or costume transfer.

Private or unauthorised transfers will not be recognised and may result in forfeiture of the costume and all payments made.
7. COSTUME COLLECTION

Costumes must be collected in person during the official distribution period.

You must present a valid photo ID.

If someone is collecting on your behalf, they must bring a signed authorisation letter/email, plus copies of both your ID and theirs.

Costumes not collected by the final distribution date, and without written approval, will be considered abandoned.

ONE Mas Band reserves the right to resell, repurpose, or dispose of uncollected costumes without refund or compensation.
8. CONDUCT & PARTICIPATION

All masqueraders must behave respectfully and responsibly during all ONE Mas Band events.

We reserve the right to deny participation or remove any individual for behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or damaging to the band or its reputation.

Participation in Carnival and related events is at your own risk.

ONE Mas Band is not liable for injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
9. MEDIA & IMAGE RELEASE
By participating in ONE Mas Band events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
You grant ONE Mas Band full rights to use your image, likeness, and voice in any media or promotional materials without compensation or further approval.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of ONE Mas Band or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any content without written permission.
11. WEBSITE USE

You agree to use the ONE Mas Band website and MasOS portal for lawful purposes only.

You must not upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unauthorised content.

ONE Mas Band reserves the right to restrict access to the website or terminate accounts for misuse.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ONE Mas Band will not be held liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

Delays, cancellations, or changes beyond our control (including weather, event cancellations, or acts of God).

Any loss of personal property or non-performance due to third-party service providers.

13. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES
By completing payment, you agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes with your bank or payment provider for any reason other than verified fraud or processing error.

14. PRIVACY POLICY
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and protect your data.
